As a church family, we practice many traditions which help define who we are. Not surprising for Methodists, most involve sharing a meal. - In the past, we have sponsored community gospel music concerts.
- Holy Week is observed with special services on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunrise. Following the Easter Sunrise Service, we gather together for a special Easter Breakfast prepared by the United Methodist Men.
- On a windy Sunday in April, we meet at a member's farm for a picnic, softball and kite flying.
- A dinner after church in May honors the year's graduates.
- In September, Rally Day honors our Sunday School teachers.
- In the fall, the Harvest Festival Dinner is held, followed by a special service during which a "Special Thanks" offering is collected.
- The Christmas season begins with the "Hanging of the Greens", followed by a soup supper.
- On Christmas Eve, a special Candlelight Service is held to commemorate the birth of our Savior.
We have something for everyone all through the year, and we are always ready to add new ideas and adventures.
